19 - Those two characters are Senor Muñkee on the left and Buddy Shmidt on the right. They were both main characters of other strips from The Connector's "Comic Vortex".
The week after this comic ran
this comic ran in Coed Ninja's usual space. It was drawn by the comic page editor himself.
Incidentally, I'm quite happy with how Munkee and Buddy came out. They look very
much like they're supposed to and I did them free hand with pen on paper. Something you don't see much of in "Coed Ninja".
